Born of African (Cameroonian) decent, Bikai grew up in Washington, D.C. but as a youngster traveled often from the U.S. to Central Africa and France with his parents. He was introduced to music from many different cultures and backgrounds at an early age.
Being fluent in French, Bikai developed an affinity for Julio Iglesias’ music. In later years Michael Jackson and Sam Cook and Petit Pays, Koffi Olomide were major inspirations as well. Bikai‘s fascination with music continued to develop as he began experimenting with writing lyrics of his own and crafting his own production.
International pop artist Bikai, released his new single “Sextacular” in an effort to make the summer days last a bit longer. “Sextacular” is a mix of urban trap mix against a heavy modern pop sound with a cross of hip-hop and funk guaranteed to get you dancing every time.
Bikai’s ode to the girls he’s met across the country, worthy of being called ‘Sextacular’. The simple repetitiveness of the chorus can’t help but live in your head, and the hypnotic pop rhythm pulls listeners subconsciously to the dancefloor. Bikai truly sells his international flavor with an undeniable funk influence while injecting plenty of bad boy attitude and charisma throughout the track. Bikai’s international background has influenced his music beyond the typical pop genre giving him more of an international vibe to his music.
